Working Hours

School Days

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 7.00 am – 4.15 pm (inclusive of 45 mins lunch break)

School Holidays

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 7.30 am – 4.45 pm (inclusive of 45 mins lunch break)

Note: Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.

Scope of ServicesPublic Address (PA) System

  • Manage and troubleshoot PA system issues in the school.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for unresolved problems, installations, maintenance, or repair works.

Audio-Visual (AV) Resources

  • Provide AV/Multimedia technical support to staff for lessons, CCA, exams, meetings, and school events/functions.
  • Set up, manage, and operate AV equipment during school events, meetings, and examinations.
  • Maintain inventory and loan records of AV and PA-related equipment; conduct regular checks.
  • Work closely with the ICT team (ICT Manager/Associate, Desktop Engineers) to meet AV/Multimedia requirements.
  • Provide technical advice on AV needs to support teaching, learning, events, and functions.
  • Manage AV equipment in classrooms and special rooms; monitor usage and conduct termly maintenance.
  • Perform half-yearly preventive maintenance for standard classroom equipment (e.g., projectors, visualizers).
  • Troubleshoot and provide effective AV solutions; proactively explore new methods to address AV/broadcast issues.
  • Guide and support students in managing AV equipment.

Other Duties

  • Assist staff in video production using tools such as iMovie, Filmora, or Canva.
  • Provide basic video editing support for educational and school-related projects.

Qualifications and Skills

The personnel should preferably have the following:

  • Relevant certification in audio, video, or media production.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in:
  • Handling AV equipment.
  • Broadcasting school or public events.
  • Working in a school-based environment.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to $3,000.00 per month

Education:

  • GCE 'O' Level or GCE 'N' Level (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Relevant certification in audio, video, or media production.: 1 year (Required)
  • Handling AV equipment.: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Broadcasting school or public events.: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Working in a school-based environment.: 1 year (Preferred)
