Singapore PROJECT BUILDER PTE. LTD. Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Singapore. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects, from pre-contract to post-contract stages. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of cost control, tendering, and contract administration within the Singapore construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BQ) for construction projects.

  • Conduct quantity take-offs , tender analysis, and pricing for tenders and proposals.

  • Handle pre- and post-contract administration , including preparation of interim valuations, variation orders, and final accounts.

  • Evaluate and manage subcontractor quotations , cost comparisons, and procurement strategies.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective cost and contract management.

  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budget and timeline.

  • Assist in dispute resolution , claims preparation, and contractual correspondence.

  • Ensure compliance with local building regulations , codes, and standard forms of contract (e.g., SIA, PSSCOC, REDAS).

  • Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate documentation of all QS-related activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in quantity surveying or cost management (construction or consultancy background preferred).

  • Fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome to apply (for junior QS roles).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel , AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of local construction practices , regulations, and standard contract forms.

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

  • Experience with public sector projects in Singapore.

  • Familiarity with BIM and digital quantity take-off tools .

  • Member of SISV or working towards MRICS accreditation.
