Reporting to the Head of Product Management, this role will be responsible for leading all product strategic planning and initiatives, market research, and innovation to ensure the company is ready to capture emerging and future consumer demand and maintain its market leadership.

The role will also lead the development and execution of product solutions across targeted customer segments and distribution channels, while driving collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders.

Job Profile Summary:

Reporting directly to the Head of Product management, this role will be mainly responsible in leading all product strategic planning and initiatives, market research and innovation to ensure the Company is ready for emerging and future market demand, and remain a market leader.

The role is also expected to lead and drive development of products for specific channel/product categories

Job Description:

  • Responsible for robust product research and driving innovations as part of product strategy in ensuring the Company is ready to capture emerging and future consumer demand

  • Actively monitor the competitive environment and provide the relevant analysis and/or recommendation to support the distribution. Also act as the Lead/Coordinator for product benchmarking report/analysis for the company

  • To lead and drive development of products for specific channel/product categories

  • Act as the main lead/Program Manager for special product initiatives

  • Assist the department head in overall product strategy and planning

Working Experience

  • Diploma / Degree with at least 15 years of experience in life insurance product development/management. Applicants with similar years of experience but mixture of exposure in product development and other related functions will also be considered.

  • Experience in managing and leading a team to handle complex situation with internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience in dealing with situations which may require rapid changes in directions

  • Ability to work in a team effectively while managing tight timelines and working in a fast-paced environment

Education

  • Degree in Actuarial Studies / Marketing / Mathematics / Business Administration or related discipline
