About the Roles

We are looking for an M&E Project Coordinator or M&E Engineer to join a reputable building and construction company located at Mandai Estate. This is a permanent position with a work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The role offers a competitive salary, variable bonus, and medical & dental benefits.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and oversee all mechanical and electrical (M&E) work on-site.
  • Review and identify discrepancies in technical drawings and specifications, reporting issues to the Project Manager.
  • Maintain and track all M&E-related documentation and records.
  • Ensure shop drawings align with project requirements and coordinate their approval.
  • Supervise M&E subcontractors, ensuring that work is executed accurately and on schedule according to contract drawings and specifications.
  • Communicate with relevant authorities, clients, and subcontractors regarding shop drawings, equipment submissions, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
  • Lead M&E coordination meetings to ensure alignment among all stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on M&E progress, challenges, and developments to the Project Manager.
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure smooth project execution and effective workflow.
  • Negotiate and seek approval for any M&E-related changes while adhering to local regulations and standards.

What We're Looking For

  • A Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of M&E coordination experience in the construction industry in Singapore.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with local codes, practices, and authority submission processes is advantageous.
