Lufthansa Technik is currently seeking highly capable candidates for the position of Aircraft Licensed Engineer (Powerplant), based in Hamburg, Germany. As an Aircraft Licensed Engineer (Powerplant), you will be working in a motivated team and carrying out maintenance tasks in accordance with OEM procedures, manual and authority regulations. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Assembly and disassembly of aircraft engines and engine modules
  • Inspection and repair of aircraft engines and engine parts

Your Profile / Requirements

As an Aircraft Licensed Engineer (Powerplant), you should have the following skills:

  • Completed vocational training (metalworking profession) in accordance with experience in aircraft engine MRO (e.g. engine technician, AML, AMP or similar)
  • Authorisation to work on and sign off the release-to-service on CFM56-5A, -5B, -5C, -7B, V2500 or LEAP-1A or -1B engines
  • Familiarity in aircraft engine inspections, boroscoping or balance is desirable
  • Willing to work in Hamburg, Germany
  • Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, fluently
  • Knowledge of the German language is not crucial, but is helpful
  • Readiness for shift work
