Urgent Part-Time Primary 1&2 Creative Writing Teacher

We are urgently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic part-time teacher to conduct English Creative Writing enrichment classes for Primary 1&2 students this Oct-Nov/Dec.

If you have a background in early childhood education and enjoy nurturing children's literacy skills, this opportunity is for you

*Responsibilities*:

  • Conduct engaging and interactive English Creative Writing classes for small groups of children. (All lessons and materials will be provided. No need prior experience in Creative Writing.)
  • Manage a group of 3 or more students per session.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Follow lesson plans closely.
  • Communicate with parents about students' performance & progress.

Class Details:

  • Lesson plans and materials will be fully provided.
  • Time/Day: 1.5-hour sessions every Friday 5.00PM-6.30PM (31 Oct, 7, 14, 21 Nov & maybe Dec)
  • Location: Compassvale, Sengkang.
  • Pay: $40 per session (pay will be transferred on the week after every 4th session)

*Requirements*:

  • Knowledge of the English Language required for Primary 1&2 (e.g. basic grammar, reading and sentence forming)
  • A background in childcare or early childhood education is a strong advantage.
  • Prior experience working with young children is preferred.
  • Patient, creative, and energetic individual with a passion for teaching.
