Job Responsibilities:
- To be involved in and supervise performance of pre-contract functions involving estimation of project costs, cost planning and control, preparation of tender documents, value engineering exercise, contract documentation and other pre-contract related activities.
- To be involved in and supervise post-contract functions involving progress payment valuation and recommendation, valuation of variations, settlement of variation claims with contractors, settlement of final account and other post-contract related activities.
- Assume the role of Lead QS for projects undertaken by his/her team of quantity surveyors and attend all client/consultants meetings and other meetings as required.
- To provide contractual advice and contractual claims management.
- Collaborate with peers of other disciplines in both the pre-contract and post-contract functions of projects.
- To assist in bid preparation.
- Attend all Project Meetings and address all Employer's concerns
