Treasury Analyst

Background:

This position is in the Remittance, Deposits & Treasury Ops (RDT) Department. This department is responsible for processing customers and interbank transactions; such as remittances, foreign exchange, derivatives, securities, time deposits, structured deposits, domestic transactions and settlements. The department also handles opening of account, online banking, cash pooling/sweeping, issuance of Certificate of Balance and Mark-to-Market. This department consist of 3 teams - Remittance Team, Deposits Team & Treasury Team. This position is with the Treasury Team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day transactions on over-the-counter derivatives products.
• Liaise with business units; especially Treasury Front Office on derivatives related.
• Validate trade deals and send confirmation to counterparty.
• Prepare and dispatch SWIFT payment, Deal/Settlement Confirmation.
• Perform investigations and reconciliations.
• Participate in system testing, project initiation and implementation.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, IT or equivalent
• Experience in treasury back office environment.
• Familiarity with derivative regulations.
• Knowledge of SWIFT messages.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel formulas, pivot table, charts.
• Knowledge of RPA script writing using UiPath, Python, etc (added advantage).
• Able to multi-task across functions.
• Interpersonal and communication skills and excellent team player.
