Singapore ST ENGINEERING CLOUD AND DATA CENTRE SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. Full time $60,000 - $120,000 per year

This position reports to the Data Centre Facilities Management (DCFM) Head and interfaces with Day Engineers and fellow FM Engineers.

We support our client's innovation journey through critical thinking, swift response, and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) support with our fully capable Facilities Management Team. We provide intelligent, actionable insights and sustainable solutions to our valued partners in diverse industries including defence, government, and commercial sectors.

  • Resolve identified engineering issues with equipment to keep downtime to minimum
  • Active participation in first level troubleshooting / root cause isolation / recovery action on all reported incidents and escalate incidents to supervisor
  • Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) / Reactive Maintenance (RM) / Service order (SO) to minimize equipment downtime
  • Documentation of standard operating procedures / Checklist of equipment Tasks
  • Work as a team to monitor and perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations
  • Performs repairs, maintenance and installation.
  • Conduct routine monitoring and spot checks of all building equipment and systems
  • Involve in company's Emergency Response team (ERT), first aid and environmental health & safety (EHS) activities
  • Ensure calls are answered and emails are responded in a timely, efficient and professional manner
  • Perform any other duties assigned and assist in ad-hoc tasks by supervisor or manager
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    Ensure proper handover and takeover during shift changes.

  • Identify data centre infrastructure

  • Manage energy supply
  • Monitor power infrastructure installation and performance level
  • Localise power infrastructure fault
  • Monitor temperature and humidity in data centre
  • Monitor data centre containment for cold and hot air separation
  • Monitor air-conditioning/chiller/cooling system
  • Prepare fire protection system inspection plan
  • Monitor fire protection system installation
  • Maintain fire suppression system
  • Perform IT service lifecycle management
  • Perform incident management
  • Perform vendor relationship management
  • Monitor DCIM system for faults and warnings
  • Manage the various sensors used by DCIM
  • Monitor the cooling tower systems and its water quality
  • Monitor emergency generator system
  • Monitor underground diesel fuel system that support emergency generators
