- Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults in transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and control systems.
- Assist engineers in system upgrades, modifications, and testing.
- Document maintenance activities, incidents, and repairs.
- Comply with safety protocols (e.g., Singapore Workplace Safety and Health Act).
- Respond promptly to emergencies and power outages.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: NITEC in Electrical/electronic Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years in power generation, transmission, or a related industrial setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading schematics, using diagnostic tools (Multimeters, Current Clamp), and working with HV/LV systems.
- Certifications: WSQ-Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health in Construction/Process plant/Shipyard in preferred.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable working in construction, Electrical room, and lifting up to 20kg.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication abilities.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
