About Our Client
Our client is a leading logistics company based in Singapore. Specializing in freight forwarding, warehousing, and E-commerce fulfillment, they have a strong regional presence and offer niche services such as eCommerce cross-border logistics to Southeast Asia.
What you'll be doing?- Customer Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for freight customers, handling bookings, shipment tracking, and general inquiries while building strong relationships through proactive communication.
 - Shipment Coordination: Collaborate with operations teams, vendors, and carriers to ensure timely pickup, transit, and delivery of cargo, providing real-time status updates.
 - Problem Solving: Handle customer concerns professionally, aiming for swift and effective resolution to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
 - Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and manage various shipping documents, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
 - Financial Processes: Process invoices accurately and coordinate with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies or adjustments.
 - Sales Support: Assist the sales team with client follow-ups, rate quotations, and post-booking coordination to drive business growth.
 - Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements across customer experience and operations, helping to enhance overall efficiency.
 
- Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in the industry.
 - Industry Experience: At least 5 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding, preferably in airfreight, to bring valuable insights to the role.
 - Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in freight documentation, customs processes, and experience with billing and invoicing systems.
 - Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in documentation and data management, essential for maintaining high-quality standards.
 
- Rotating shifts (weekly):
• 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Shift allowance provided for PM shift) - Rotating weekend duties (Sat & Sun): Assigned on a rotating basis among team members, approximately once a month. (Work from home and Weekend WFH allowance provided)
