About the role

Kee Yong Automobile Service Pte Ltd, a leading automotive service provider in the Bishan East Central Region, is seeking a skilled Automobile Technician to join our team. As an Automobile Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles, playing a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our clients' vehicles.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with vehicles, using diagnostic equipment and techniques
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Repair and replace various automotive components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure the workshop environment is well-organised and clean
• Collaborate with the service team to provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Automobile Technician or in a similar role
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently to identify and resolve issues
• Enthusiastic, focused and able to commit busy schedule

• Proficient in the use of automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
• Good understanding of automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear explanations to customers
