About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team at Aureus Academy in Singapore. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young musicians.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and delivering engaging music lessons that cater to the individual needs and learning styles of each student
  2. Designing and implementing a comprehensive music curriculum that promotes the development of musical skills, theory, and performance
  3. Providing one-on-one and group instruction in a variety of musical instruments, such as piano, violin, drum or guitar
  4. Organising and leading student recitals, competitions, and other musical events to showcase student progress and achievements
  5. Collaborating with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience for students
  6. Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
  7. Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your teaching skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field, with a strong focus on music performance and pedagogy
  2. Welcome fresh graduates
  3. Exceptional musical skills and proficiency in one or more instruments, with the ability to demonstrate and teach effectively
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages
  5. Demonstrated creativity and adaptability in designing and delivering innovative music lessons
  6. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  7. Passion for music education and a genuine desire to help students develop their musical talents
