About our client: Our client is a leading Construction and Civil Engineering company supporting the Oil & Gas and Chemical Processing Industry.
About the role:
- Lead the HSSE team and ensure all operations are conducted safely in line with Goal Zero, complying with site HSE standards and COMPANY's HSSE management procedures across Bukom and Jurong Island.
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSSE policies, procedures, and programs for all sites.
- Conduct HSSE performance reviews, client reporting, service reviews, and contract SCOPE performance with Key Account Leads/Managers.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to the HSSE team, Real Estate team, and site management to ensure correct procedures are followed.
- Oversee compliance with statutory requirements, company policies, and client standards related to health, safety, hygiene, and environmental practices.
- Support auditing activities as required and liaise with regulatory authorities on HSSE matters.
- Ensure proper HSSE documentation, record-keeping, and adherence to all contract and regulatory requirements.
About you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental/Engineering discipline, or related field.
- 8–12 years of HSSE experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in industrial/oil & gas/chemical environments.
- NEBOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, Fire Safety Management, or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of Singapore safety regulations (MOM, SCDF, NEA, EMA, JTC, BCA), risk assessments, incident investigations, PTW systems, emergency response planning, and HSSE management systems.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills; able to drive a Goal Zero safety culture.
- Willingness to work on Bukom/Jurong Island sites; proactive, safety-conscious, and committed to continuous HSSE improvement.
