Position Summary:

This is a core operational role responsible for the efficient, safe, and timely delivery of goods. The holder is an experienced professional who will also mentor and train the Logistics Driver Associate to ensure full operational capability and team resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery Execution: Safely and efficiently execute daily delivery and collection routes according to schedule.
  • Mentorship & Training: Provide hands-on training, guidance, and oversight to the Logistics Driver Associate, equipping them to operate independently.
  • Delegation & Workflow: Effectively coordinate daily tasks with the associate, ensuring all responsibilities are met to the company's standard.
  • Vehicle Care: Take primary responsibility for the daily inspection, cleanliness, and basic maintenance reporting of the assigned delivery vehicle.
  • Documentation: Accurately manage all delivery documentation, including proof of delivery, logs, and any customer reports.
  • Operational Continuity: Proactively ensure the associate is prepared to cover all duties independently to prevent any service disruption.

Requirements:

  • Valid Singapore driving license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional driving/delivery experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, guide, and work collaboratively with a junior team member.
  • Strong organisational, route planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit for repeated loading and unloading of goods.
