Engineer (SAP Applications)
In this role, you will:
- Provide technical support and administration of transport management, batch management, system processes, and production support for SAP environment in conjunction with relevant third parties
- Interact with development teams, various technical support teams, to optimize and maintain the overall SAP reliability, availability, and performance
- Provide installation, configuration, integration, upgrade and testing services for new projects and on-going maintenance for SAP environments
- Oversee and monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.); prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports
- Lead and coordinate with third parties the troubleshooting and resolution of problems related to performance issues for SAP ECC, Enterprise Portal with Oracle Databases, Content Server and interoperability with existing network and system landscape.
- Ensure Incident Reports are completed for all issues and appropriate approved actions are executed.
- Participate in the planning and upgrades of SAP systems and Oracle DB upgrades
- Manage and/or participate in the Application of SAP maintenance (hot packages, Oracle DBs and kernel upgrades) through all systems using a structured methodology.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Computer & Information Science/Computer & Network Technology/Computer & Networking/Computer And Information Sciences/Computer Engineering/Computer Information Systems/Computer Networking/Computer Science/Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Science And Systems/Computer Studies/Computer Technology
- A minimum of 5 years strong technical skills in implementation and support of SAP ECC, SAP NetWeaver Java systems
- Oracle database administration experience
- Content Server with MaxDB experience
- Familiar with backup and Recovery tools processes and procedures
- Familiar with Disaster Recovery tools processes and procedures
- Installation, upgrade and Migration experience
- Experience in performance monitoring and tuning of SAP systems
