About the role

We are seeking an experienced Entomologist to join our dynamic team at 1STEP Pest Control Services Pte Ltd. As an Entomologist, you will play a crucial role in our organisation, providing expert knowledge and guidance on all matters related to insects, pests, and their management. This full-time position is based in the Tampines North East Region, offering a rewarding career opportunity for those passionate about the field of biological and biomedical sciences.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting comprehensive pest assessments and surveys to identify and characterise various insect species
2. Developing and implementing effective pest control strategies, tailored to the specific needs of our clients
3. Providing technical advice and guidance to our pest control professionals on the most appropriate treatment methods
4. Collaborating with the team to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance are maintained
5. Staying up-to-date with the latest research, regulations, and industry best practices in the field of entomology
6. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our services through innovation and the use of cutting-edge technologies

What we're looking for

1. A bachelor's degree or higher in Entomology, Zoology, or a related field
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Entomologist, preferably in the pest control industry
3. Proven expertise in identifying, classifying, and managing a wide range of insect species
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop tailored pest control solutions
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and team members
6. Proficiency in the use of relevant software and technologies, such as data analysis tools and GIS systems
7. A passion for the environment and a commitment to promoting sustainable pest management practices
8. Valid Class 3 & NEA Technician licence.
