About the role
Singapore Jinggong Steel Structure Pte.Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in the Tuas Bay West Region of Singapore. As a Welder in our construction division, you will play a vital role in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality steel structures to support our projects. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.
What you'll be doing
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate steel components accurately
- Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join steel components
- Ensure all welds meet industry standards and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the construction team to assemble and install steel structures on-site
- Maintain welding equipment and work area to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Participate in regular training and upskilling programmes to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder in the construction industry
- Welders are to be of minimum 3G level.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent welding skills, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and attention to detail
- Willingness to undergo training and continuous learning
