Key Responsibilities:


• Language & Communication - Provide accurate and fluent interpretation, translation, and communication in Mandarin for patients and families.


• Engage with patients via multiple channels, including face-to-face, phone calls, and WeChat for pre-admission, admission, outpatient visits, and post-discharge follow-ups.


• Patient Journey Support


• Meet and greet patients upon arrival.


• Assist patients with admissions, financial counselling translations, and ensure smooth ward transfers.


• Support patients attending Urgent Care Centre (A&E), Endoscopy Centre, day procedures, or inpatient admissions.


• Guide patients through the discharge process to ensure a seamless transition.


• Service Excellence & Experience Address general patient queries and provide assistance promptly. Handle patient feedback, execute service recovery, and close service gaps before discharge.


• Provide high-touch concierge service to elevate patient satisfaction and loyalty.


• Hospital Representation


• Conduct hospital tours in fluent Mandarin for visitors, including insurance agencies and delegations from China.


• Reporting & Administration Prepare and submit weekly reports on Mandarin-speaking patients served.


• Assist with administrative duties as required.


• Other Duties Undertake additional tasks or assignments as directed by the Senior Front Office Manager (SFOM) or Director of Operations (DOO).

Skills & Knowledge:


• Minimum Diploma in Hospitality, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related fields. Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.


• Candidates with equivalent work experience in patient services, customer service, or translation/interpretation will also be considered.


• Native or near-native fluency in spoken and written Mandarin (translation and interpretation).


• Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or customer service preferred.


• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and service recovery skills. Comfortable using WeChat and digital communication platforms.


• Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.


• Well-groomed, professional, and patient-centric.
