Assistant Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the DevOps Lead to manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure platforms.
  • Support the design, development, and optimization of application architecture and systems.
  • Translate business requirements into efficient and functional technical solutions.
  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performance web application systems.
  • Explore and implement new technologies to enhance user experience.
  • Contribute to both front-end and back-end development activities.
  • Design and write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Participate in unit testing, deployment, and system migration tasks.
  • Conduct code reviews, uphold development best practices, and ensure code quality, security, and scalability.
  • Maintain technical documentation and provide support and training to internal stakeholders.
  • Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in software development and programming.
  • Good knowledge in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and responsive web design.
  • Experience in back-end development using technologies such as PHP, ReactJS, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of MSSQL and T-SQL, with an understanding of both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming and MVC design patterns.
  • Experience with system testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Solid programming logic with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to ERP, WMS, SAP systems or mobile development (mobile web, hybrid, or native apps) is a plus.
