Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

(1) Main Duties
  • Outline client design objectives.
  • Conceptualize and sketch design plans.
  • Source materials and products included in plans.
  • Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision.
  • Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.
  • Utilize computer applications in the design process.
  • Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met.
  • Prepare and submit progress claims and invoice billing.
  • To work overtime if required
(2) Project cost
  • Determine the cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase.
  • Handle ordering of materials (Plywood, laminate, hardware, etc)
  • Liaise with sub-contractors/suppliers (electrician/plumber) on quote requisition
  • Assist in checking monthly invoices to Statement of Accounts
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Architecture/ Interior Design or equivalent
  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent
  • Entry level candidates are welcome
  • The candidate must be competent in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop or other design programs and Microsoft Office
  • The candidate has to be proficient in both "English" & "Chinese" in terms of verbal and writing to handle queries and concerns from English and Chinese speaking sub-contractors/suppliers in regards with the interior design related matters.
Working Hours:
  • 5.5 working days in a week (9 am to 6 pm on weekdays, 9am to 1pm on Saturday)
