Role Overview:
The Procurement & Merchandising Executive will be responsible in overseeing procurement, product sourcing, supplier management, and cost negotiations. The role focuses on maintaining market competitiveness, optimizing product selections, and ensuring profitability.
Job Details:
- Salary: $2800- $3200 (depends on experiences)
- Working hours: 5days work week (8.30am - 5.30pm)
- Location: Ang Mo Kio (With two way transport from Jurong East, Ang Mo Kio and Bedok MRT)
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source new products while managing category allocations.
- Plan merchandise assortments, analyze pricing strategies, and assess their impact on sales and profit margins.
- Monitor inventory levels, replenish fast-moving items, and strategize for slow-moving stocks.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, promotional deals, and timely stock supply
- Manage store promotions, including those related to refurbishments, new store launches, and closures.
- Support offsite events to ensure smooth retail operations.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on trends and competitor strategies.
- Prepare and update sell-through analysis reports while tracking inventory aging.
- Work with internal teams to execute promotional strategies and support product launches.
- Assist with events, campaigns, and merchandising-related administrative tasks.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- With relevant working experiences is an added advantages.
