We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of construction projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Review and Documentation: Evaluate project requirements and technical specifications, interpret construction and technical drawings, and clarify project needs.
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Manage project schedules, including procurement and material shipment to ensure timelines are met.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare method statements and conduct risk assessments for various construction activities.
  • Field Work Coordination: Oversee on-site activities to ensure smooth and timely progress, meeting all technical requirements.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all site activities are conducted with due regard for health and safety, adhering to company and client standards.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data from field work, compile, and prepare detailed technical reports.
  • Communication and Queries: Attend project meetings and address engineering queries from clients and team members.
  • ISO Management System: Maintain compliance with the ISO Management System standards throughout project stages.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong project management skills, including scheduling and procurement.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards within the construction industry.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO Management Systems and risk assessment processes.

Other Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
