  • Job Summary*
  • As a Technician ll under our *
  • Chemical Production Department**, you will be responsible for all the routine and non-routine processes of chemical formulations (Lens formulation materials, in-process solutions, in-package saline solutions) Operations in our Tuas Plant.
  • In this role, a typical day will include: Performs routine and non-routine processes in chemical production operations
  • Helps manage and maintain chemical production calibration, documentation, inventory (i.e. cycle count), maintenance and compliance
  • Assumes full responsibility in maintaining training on the required technical, quality compliance and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Participates and/or initiate projects that improve process efficiency and/or reduce operating cost
  • Knows, understands and complies with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) guidelines.

Reports any unsafe conditions, injuries, illnesses and hazardous material releases

  • Knowledgeable in safe handling of chemicals/waste disposal
  • Supports implementation of Data Integrity (DI) Program for the site*
  • Job Requirement: At least NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical and Life Sciences or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment, production operations, GMP/GDP manufacturing or any other related manufacturing sectors.
  • Comfortable to be lifting heavy weights
  • Forklift Licence is an advantage*
