A reputable and well-established European multinational manufacturer is seeking a skilled Internal Auditor to join its global audit team. This is a high-impact role that offers international exposure, career growth, and the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

About the Role

Reporting to the Internal Audit Director, you will support the business in strengthening internal controls, enhancing performance, and ensuring governance across global operations. You will deliver in-depth audit reports, provide clear and actionable recommendations, and contribute to continuous improvement in internal audit practices — particularly within areas such as equipment installation and maintenance.

This role requires significant international travel (approximately 70%–75%), covering audit engagements across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute internal audits across various business functions and geographies

  • Identify risks, assess internal controls, and recommend practical solutions

  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to business leaders and audit committees

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of audit methodologies and tools

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support risk management and corporate governance initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, Statisctics or a related field

  • Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of internal audit experience, preferably with exposure in the manufacturing or industrial sector

  • Big 4 experience is highly desirable

  • Comfortable with frequent international travel (up to 75%)

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Independent, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
