Job description

Autumn Compass is an algorithmic trading firm established in Sydney in 2015, expanding to Singapore in 2024 to grow our Cryptocurrency Trading division. Our key strategy is to combine the disciplines of software engineering, computer science and economic theory to develop highly successful and automated trading strategies. Our systems enable us to operate across a diverse range of liquidity platforms and technologies, both on-chain and off-chain.

We are seeking a capable Trading Operations Analyst to join our growing team. You will help support and monitor our algorithmic trading systems operating on the blockchain — ensuring execution health, investigating anomalies, and identifying potential opportunities to improve trading outcomes.

Work alongside experienced engineers in Singapore and Australia as you develop your skills utilising professional best-practices and monitoring systems.

Job Benefits:

Job requirements

What you will do:

  • Monitor real-time trading systems operating on the blockchain using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Python-based monitoring scripts.

  • Investigate trading anomalies and software issues, collaborating with engineers to diagnose and resolve them.

  • Maintain and extend Python scripts that track execution health and trading performance.

  • Build and refine Grafana dashboards and construct SQL queries to gain insights.

  • Analyse blockchain transactions and liquidity protocols to help identify inefficiencies or emerging opportunities

What you bring:

  • 1-2 years experience in a trading support, operations or technical analyst role.

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.

  • Solid experience with Python(mandatory); SQL (preferred).

  • Familiar with modern monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry).

  • Interest in real-time trading systems and cryptocurrency/blockchain technologies

  • Clear communicator with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
