Duties and Responsibilities

Dispatch

· Attend customer service enquiry by Email/Calls.

· Handle warehouse management system on documentations.

· Prepare full sets of shipping documents from system after received order/shipping instruction from Sales.

· Complete pick and pack for daily deliveries.

· Liaise and coordinate with carrier/forwarders/customers to ensure smooth delivery of shipment.

· Update completed deliveries/collections into system.

· Ensure correctness of delivery labels and any special instruction that is required for every delivery are well-communicated and executed.

· Coordinate with other departments with regards to sample deliveries.

· Communicate with other departments such as Production and Maintenance to resolve issues that hinders productivity and output.

· Any other logistics/admin ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.

· Support shift operation when required.

· Provide reports and activity updates to superior when requested.

· Perform additional tasked roles as part of the organisation requirements.

Receiving

· Acknowledge receipt of goods upon handover by freight forwarder/delivery contractor.

· Assist in checking physical conditions (quantity/quality) and segregate goods accordingly.

· Assist to put away received items into assigned locations within stipulated timeframe.

· To indicate goods receipt information clearly on documents and into SAP system.

· Perform periodic cycle count to ensure stock accuracy of raw material, intermediates and packaging material within Singapore plant and report discrepancy to superior for follow up actions.

· Involve in communication with QC, or other related departments to derive root cause and corrective actions on all quality rejections.

· Dispose unwanted materials at assigned areas when required to.

· Provide reports and activity updates to superior when requested.

· Any other logistics/admin ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.

Academic qualifications

· Minimum 'O' Level

Experience and knowledge

· At least 2~3  years of working experience in the Logistics Industries

· Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Personality traits

· Must be dependable, flexible, and punctual

· Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and communication skills

Tools/Equipment

  • Experience in operating lifting equipment such as hoist and forklift.
  • Familiar with MS office software, especially Excel.
  • Familiar with SAP or other similar ERP software.
