About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Avon Industries Pte Ltd in the Woodlands North Region. As a Project Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career progression.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  2. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any issues that arise, and communicate updates to project stakeholders
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  4. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address concerns and maintain positive relationships
  5. Manage the allocation of resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to optimise project efficiency
  6. Contribute to the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets
  7. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost-saving measures
  8. Provide training and support to junior team members, fostering their professional development

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry
  2. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders
  5. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings
  6. Thorough knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  7. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  8. Proficient in the use of construction management software and technologies
