Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly professional, discreet, and service-oriented House Butler to oversee and manage the daily operations of a private residence. The ideal candidate will deliver five-star hospitality service, ensuring that the home runs smoothly and that the needs of the household and guests are consistently met with the utmost attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Household Management:
    Oversee daily household operations including scheduling, staff supervision (housekeepers, chefs, chauffeurs, etc.), and vendor coordination.
  • Guest Services:
    Greet and attend to residents and guests in a professional manner; serve meals and drinks formally or informally as required.
  • Table Service & Event Support:
    Set and serve formal/informal table settings, assist in planning and managing household events and private functions.
  • Inventory & Supplies:
    Manage household inventory, including fine china, silverware, and pantry; oversee purchasing and stock rotation.
  • Security & Discretion:
    Maintain discretion and confidentiality; ensure household safety and monitor security systems as needed.
  • Maintenance Oversight:
    Report and follow up on maintenance issues; liaise with contractors and service providers.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar private household or luxury hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of formal service etiquette and protocols
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Impeccable personal presentation and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in household technology and systems
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable)
Preferred:
  • Formal butler training (e.g., from a recognized butler or hospitality school)
  • Multilingual abilities
  • Culinary or wine knowledge
