JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Design, develop, and optimize clean agent and fire suppression systems, adhering to UL, FM, ISO, and other industry standards.

• Collaborate with R&D, quality control, and manufacturing teams to ensure product compliance and performance excellence.

• Interpret and apply approval requirements to system design documentation, test procedures, and operational protocols.

• Liaise with external certification bodies (UL, FM Approvals, ISO auditors), managing documentation and submission processes.

• Conduct technical reviews of schematics, BOMs, and calculations to ensure regulatory and operational accuracy.

• Support qualification testing—develop test protocols, oversee execution, analyze results, and implement corrective actions.

• Stay current on regulatory updates, emerging standards, and industry best practices.

• Provide technical leadership for root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and field-level technical support.

• Mentor junior engineers and drive improvements in design and compliance procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.

• Significant experience with clean agent or fire suppression systems—design, certification, or testing.

• Hands-on familiarity with UL, FM, ISO, and other third-party certification processes.

• Proficiency in mechanical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD).

• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to interpret complex technical standards into practical designs and solutions.

• Excellent communication skills to engage cross-functionally and with external agencies.

• Solid project and time management skills, with attention to detail.

• Self-starter, collaborative team player, and a continuous learner.
