We are a fast-growing parenting products distributorship looking for a creative and driven Social Media Intern to join our content and marketing team. If you're interested in children's products, love animals, are passionate about TikTok, Instagram Reels, and creating compelling short-form videos, this internship is for you.

Job Description

What You'll Do


• Plan, shoot, and edit engaging short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, etc.)


• Script and storyboard creative concepts for content across platforms


• Take high-quality photos and videos for campaigns, product launches, and behind-the-scenes features


• Repurpose content into different formats suited for different platforms


• Stay on top of social media trends, challenges, and platform algorithms


• Taking lead on posting schedules and basic performance tracking


• Collaborate with marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand voice and objectives

What We're Looking For


• Sense of ownership: if you had it your way, you would be running the social media, and you wouldn't want anyone else to interfere


• Willingness to learn: taking initiative to observe others and find out how they do it so you can do better is key


• Strong proficiency in video editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)


• Good eye for visual composition, photography, and lighting


• Excellent grasp of TikTok and Instagram trends and best practices


• Creative script writing and storytelling skills


• Able to work independently and meet fast-moving deadlines


• Bonus: experience being in front of the camera or directing talent

Requirements


• Prior experience creating social content (brand, personal, school – show us)


• A portfolio, TikTok account, or Instagram page that reflects your style and experience


• Strong written and spoken English


• All educational backgrounds welcome
