Role Overview:

In this role, you won't just engineer products; you'll be the critical expert shaping the design, specification, and innovation of our removable jacketing solutions.

You will be the technical cornerstone for our product lifecycle, providing expert direction from initial design to project execution. You'll collaborate closely with production, sales, and project teams to ensure our products meet client needs, industry standards, and push the boundaries of performance.

Unlike traditional product engineering roles, you'll also directly influence how our solutions can expand into new industries like offshore wind, commercial buildings and others.

Your 
Key Responsibilities
will include:

• Product Expertise & Technical Specification:
   Become the in-house authority on our removable jacketing products, recommending thickness, materials, and designs that fit project requirements and standards.
• CAD Design & Prototyping:
   Use SolidWorks and other engineering tools to support detailed design, modeling, and product documentation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   Work with sales, project management, and production teams to translate client needs into workable engineering solutions.
• Technical Support & Training:
   Assist project teams and clients with technical queries, training, and product knowledge transfer.
• Research & Development
  : Lead efforts to improve and innovate product performance, durability, and compliance with fire protection and insulation standards.
• Industry Insight & Continuous Learning:
  Stay updated on industry norms, competitor products, and new technologies relevant to passive fire protection, thermal, and acoustic insulation.
• New Market Research
  : Assist us in finding intersections between different industries such that our engineering philosophies can be applied beyond the Oil & Gas Industry.

Who You Are
:

• Strong Engineering Background:
   Degree or diploma in mechanical, chemical, or materials engineering with experience in product design or manufacturing.
• Proficient in SolidWorks:
   Skilled in CAD modeling and product development tools.
• Technically Astute:
   Able to understand process plant equipment such as valves and actuators, with capacity to apply engineering judgment on jacketing solutions.
• Collaborative Communicator:
  Able to clearly explain technical details and work well across teams.
• Creative & Research-Oriented:
   Passionate about R&D and continuous product improvement.
• Motivated and Detail-Focused:
   Driven to ensure product excellence and quality at every stage.
