Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging phonics lessons using a structured phonics program (e.g., Jolly Phonics, Letterland, or similar).
Support students in developing foundational reading and spelling skills through fun, interactive activities.
Track and assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to individual needs.
Collaborate with fellow educators and communicate regularly with parents to support children's literacy development.
Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that supports early learning.
Maintain teaching resources, learning materials, and classroom displays related to literacy and phonics.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, English, or related field.
Certified in or experience with a recognized phonics program (e.g., Jolly Phonics, Orton-Gillingham, Montessori Phonics).
Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience with preschool or early primary-aged children.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners creatively.
Passion for literacy and early education.
Must be eligible to work in Singapore.
