The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fulfilment Strategy & Plans Executive to lead and drive key operational improvement initiatives within our fulfilment operations & warehouse setup. This role will focus on enhancing productivity, driving cost-saving projects, and supporting the expansion of our fulfilment capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a data-driven mindset, and experience in logistics or supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Data-Driven Initiatives: Spearhead e-commerce order fulfilment process optimisation, productivity enhancements, and expansion projects by leveraging data insights and analytics
  • Project Management: Develop, execute, and monitor project plans to achieve objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. Promote best practices in project planning, execution, and post-implementation review
  • KPI Design and Implementation: Design, adjust, and track KPIs and incentive schemes to optimise operational efficiency, achieving measurable improvements in productivity and cost reduction
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (Operations, BI, Finance, SPX) and external vendors to align project goals and deliverables, ensuring seamless execution and overcoming operational bottlenecks
  • Innovation and Technology: Explore, recommend, and implement emerging technologies and automation solutions to enhance warehouse operations
  • Cost Control and Efficiency: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains, targeting at least a 10% improvement in key operational metrics year-over-year
  • Expansion Projects: Support warehouse expansion and re-layout initiatives, ensuring project milestones are met, and the warehouse is equipped to handle increased capacity and new business lines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations. Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in data visualization, reporting, and project management tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, MS Project)
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in driving warehouse automation projects, knowledge of operational KPIs, and exposure to large-scale warehouse operations is preferred
