Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple banking systems (e.g., loans, treasury, trade finance, payments).
  • Support the preparation and validation of MAS regulatory reports in compliance with reporting standards.
  • Conduct data analysis across corporate banking portfolios, including lending, deposits, trade finance, and treasury products.
  • Perform trend, variance, and scenario analyses to support business performance, pricing, and profitability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business and compliance teams to translate regulatory and business requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal data governance and regulatory policies.
  • Partner with technology teams to enhance data pipelines, automate reporting processes, and enable advanced analytics use cases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst within banking or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of corporate banking products (loans, deposits, trade finance, treasury, payments).
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks, particularly MAS reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in SQL, and experience with data analysis tools such as Python or R.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL, or big data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark).
  • Exposure to machine learning applications in credit, risk, or client segmentation.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link data insights to revenue, cost, and risk drivers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and fast-paced environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
