Job Summary: Join a leading construction consulting company with over 70 years of experience in developing social infrastructure globally. We are hiring a Marketing and Business Development Assistant to manage business development activities for our Singapore Branch alongside the General Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate consulting project opportunities in Singapore and other overseas markets based on project information analysis.
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships with clients and strategic teaming partners in Singapore and overseas.
  • Collaborate with Directors, key decision makers, and colleagues in the Singapore Branch Office and Headquarters in Tokyo on marketing and business development, including tender and proposal preparation.
  • Identify and propose qualified experts for various proposals and tenders; support the deployment and mobilization of experts for projects.
  • Provide support for business development activities such as setting up project offices.
  • Coordinate and monitor the flow of activities related to proposal preparation, including reproduction, quality checks, packaging, and delivery.
  • Support contract negotiations with clients to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Develop and maintain databases and tools needed for qualification documents, proposals, and tender documents.
  • Act as a key contact person in the Singapore Office, supporting all project proposals and tender documents.
  • Provide support to Project Teams for projects in Singapore and abroad.
  • Plan and implement project offices, including purchasing office equipment and furnishings for project start-ups and mobilization.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and business development, preferably in consulting or professional services handling civil/infrastructure-related project management, tendering, proposals, and contract development.
  • Proven track record of securing government and international clients and partnerships.
  • Knowledge of global consulting business markets and cross-cultural business practices.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Good computer skills
  • Working experience in a construction consulting firm is an added advantage.
