The Opportunity:

OpenText Professional Services provides advice and guidance to our clients and partners on how to best adopt OT best practice. Managers lead our efforts with clients, partners, and our staff to ensure Customer Success and oversee successful delivery of programs, ensuring it is delivered to meet the clients expectations and is delivered within budget.

The AppWorks Lead role will be responsible for implementing an Enterprise Content Management solution using Appworks platform, assisting customers with installations and configurations of the solution. The Architect will be leading the effort in understanding customer requirements and advises customers on solution options and work closely with Appworks consultants. They will be responsible for bringing their expertise to the customer situation during the requirements gathering, design and development of the software. Will also apply business skills and consulting methodologies to collect and analyze data. Should be keen on enhancing the knowledge on the latest versions of Appworks features. Should be keen to learn on other Appworks connected OT products.

You Are Great At:

• Understands the business requirements, makes design choices and translates them in a AppWorks architecture that meets the requirements
• Designs and programs complex modules of an application
• Takes ownership of code quality. Actively and effectively reviews source code, takes defect prevention steps in software development.
• Provides high level work estimates and assists in task planning& task allocation
• Mentors' young software engineers within the team, guides them in their work
• Passionate about new technologies/innovations happening around. Constantly upgrade knowledge on latest technologies and standards. Should be willing to work on research topics

What It Takes:

• Educational qualification - BE/ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Tech
• Should have very good problem solving, analytical and coding skills
• 10 years' experience with OpenText AppWorks /Process Suite, is mandatory.
• Hands on work experience on Appworks and Angular Or Entity modeling is mandatory
• Hands on work experience on Sun Java, JDBC, AJAX, XML, OOAD is mandatory.
• Knowledge of the existing Appworks product portfolio, associated technologies and standards is desirable and would be an asset.
• The Architect possesses in depth technical knowledge on:
• Service Oriented Architecture
• W3C standards
• Object Orientation
• Platforms (.Net, Java, J2EE)
• Web 2.0 technologies
• Various types of enterprise applications (e.g. ERP, EAI , BPM)
• Databases, data modeling
• Network architectures and security
• Software development methodologies
