We are looking for an experienced M&E Coordinator with strong expertise in mechanical and electrical works to join our construction team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of local experience in coordinating M&E services for building and infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth project execution, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective collaboration between consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all M&E works to ensure alignment with design specifications, project schedule, and quality standards.
- Review technical drawings, shop drawings, and construction plans to identify discrepancies and provide solutions.
- Liaise with consultants, architects, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve technical and site issues.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor M&E progress on site, track work schedules, and prepare progress reports.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical input on M&E matters.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.
- Need to issue MR for qs to order materials.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant M&E coordination experience in Singapore construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of local codes, regulations, and submission procedures.
- Proficient in reviewing drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
