About the role

Hans Language Centre Pte Ltd is seeking a passionate and experienced Chinese Teacher to join our team at our Woodlands Regional Centre location. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality language instruction to our primary school students.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and delivering engaging Chinese language lessons for primary school students
  2. Creating lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of diverse learners
  3. Assessing student progress and providing regular feedback to support their language development
  4. Collaborating with other teachers and the management team to continuously improve the language programme
  5. Participating in professional development activities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Chinese Language or a related field
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Chinese to primary school students
  3. Strong command of the Chinese language, both written and spoken
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  5. Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
  6. Passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed
