Duties & Responsibilities

  • Investigating staff or student-related disciplinary infractions, including conducting interviews and compiling a disciplinary report for submission
  • Reporting back to the relevant stakeholders i.e. Schools/Departments, Student Disciplinary Committee (SDC). This would include generating periodic statistical reports for presentation to Management
  • Tracking and monitoring cases to conclusion, including the fulfilment of any penalties meted out
  • Liaise with other internal and/or external agencies, where necessary. This would include managing routine correspondence e.g. submission of school reports to external authorities, student disciplinary warning letters
  • Support any student disciplinary related activities e.g. mass briefings
  • Support the review of student disciplinary policies and procedures, and their effectiveness

Working Hours

  • 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday

Salary

  • $14.50/hour

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in student and staff disciplinary investigation and management, emergency and crisis management.
  • Ex-Singapore Police Force, Prisons or Central Narcotics Bureau Officer and/or with prior experience working in a similar capacity in education institutions to liaise with students on disciplinary issues
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, and willing to learn other IT skills
