At Hitomo Construction, we specialize in the design and construction of bespoke landed homes and boutique residential developments in Singapore. We are currently seeking a hands-on Architectural Designer cum Coordinator who can lead both interior and exterior design development while coordinating site execution and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design

  • Lead the conceptual and detailed design of both interior and exterior spaces for landed residential homes.
  • Develop mood boards, material palettes, and space planning layouts that reflect both client aspirations and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure interior layouts are practical, buildable, and coordinated with M&E and structural elements.
  • Design building façades, elevations, and external features that align with the architectural character and context of each project.

Technical Drawings & Documentation

Prepare complete architectural drawing sets, including:

  • Structural set-out plans
  • Wall set-out drawings

  • Detailed floor plans, elevations, and sections

  • Produce M&E coordination drawings in line with architectural layouts.

  • Ensure all designs comply with Singapore regulations (BCA, URA, SCDF, PUB).

Regulatory Submissions & Compliance

  • Assist in the preparation of authority submission packages (BCA, URA, FSSD, etc.).
  • Respond to comments from government agencies and coordinate any revisions required for approval.

Project Documentation

  • Maintain and update all design documentation, revision records, and coordination drawings.
  • Support the project manager in reporting and documentation for progress meetings and client presentations.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Architecture or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in both interior and exterior architectural design for landed residential or boutique developments.
  • Sound understanding of Singapore building regulations, submission procedures, and construction sequencing.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in the use of Archicad and Lumion / Enscape is a PLUS point
  • Experience in production of technical construction drawings
