Job Description

Based in Singapore, the regional hub for Asia Pacific, this position reports to the Manager in the Microbiology Laboratory of the Biotechnology Facility.

What You Will Do

  1. Perform routine/non-routine quality monitoring and testing of Utility systems
  2. Conduct environmental monitoring for plants, facilities, clean rooms, and labs
  3. Provide testing support for plant validation activities
  4. Conduct in-process and release samples testing
  5. Perform routine and batch-related environmental monitoring
  6. Perform media receival, sterility checks, and growth promotion tests
  7. Participate in quality control checks and maintenance of cell cultures
  8. Perform microbial identification in various samples
  9. Extend documentation support to the department
  10. Liaise with external vendors and maintain laboratory consumables
  11. Participate in compliance-related matters
  12. Supervise and oversee third-party contractors

Qualifications: Degree in Microbiology/Science/related Engineering field

Required Skills/Experience:

  1. Good understanding of Safety and cGMP practices
  2. Computer Literacy
  3. Good oral and written communication skills
