Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that align with curriculum standards and engage students of varying ability levels. Develop innovative instructional strategies using technology and hands-on activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Set appropriate individual student targets in line with the school and departmental targets/policy
  • Supervise students during non-instructional time as assigned and participate in school-wide initiatives, committees, or extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum design and teaching strategies.
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and community members while upholding the school's mission and values.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or the equivalent Professional teaching qualification.
  • Experience in working with student groups in schoolwide/community projects.
  • Energetic, personable and adaptable with a growth mindset.
  • A sense of ownership and initiative in school improvement, is resourceful and innovative.
