Job Summary

The Student Admissions Officer plays a key role in guiding learners from their first inquiry all the way to completing their programme. In this role, you'll support prospective and current students, coordinate both online and in-person learning activities, liaise with trainers, assist in onboarding new instructors, monitor learner progress, and ensure certificates are issued accurately. You will also serve as a representative of the institute during events, maintaining a positive and professional image. Your main purpose is to create a smooth, supportive, and high-quality educational journey for every student.

Duties

  • Respond promptly to inquiries and guide students through each step of the admissions process.
  • Support online learning operations by tracking attendance, assessments, and capstone submissions.
  • Work closely with trainers and training assistants to ensure courses run efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new trainers.
  • Manage class communication channels, providing timely help and clarifications to trainees.
  • Collect and review student feedback, sharing insights for course enhancement.
  • Process and issue completion certificates for learners who finish their training.
  • Handle administrative requests such as re-assessments, programme changes, deferments, and withdrawals.
  • Participate in institute events, webinars, and outreach activities as a representative of the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience.
  • Background in student admissions or educational customer support.
  • Excellent communication abilities, with confidence in both speaking and writing.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for technology and learning.
  • Highly organized, attentive to details, and able to connect well with diverse individuals.
  • Bonus points for experience with CRM platforms or basic data analysis.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
