Job Description
Project Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our SMP Team. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is looking to gain hands-on experience analyzing data for the disability sector. As an Intern, Data Analyst, you will be part of the key players in supporting our team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities / Work Areas
- Perform cleaning, validating, organising raw datasets from multiple Excel sources.
- Restructure the raw datasets into formats suitable for Power BI dashboards with Python
- Generate relevant dashboards, visualizations and ad-hoc reports that effectively answer key business questions
- Assist with the migration of existing excel reports to automated dashboards.
- Participate in cross-divisional/team meetings to clarify data needs.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation of all procedures and scripts for effective knowledge transfer
- Provide support on any ad-hoc data requests or data projects
Requirements
- Proficient in Python, Excel (Pivot, tables, formulas), PowerBI
- Strong understanding of analytics fundamentals
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics or a related field
- Has an interest in the social service sector and in using data to drive social impact
