**_Supervisory Responsibilities: _**
- Provide daily and strategic engineering oversight to the Operations team in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment and systems. Interfaces with Facilities supervisors and managers to resolve building operation problems and design issues.
**_Duties/Responsibilities: _**
- Knowledge of ACMV/HVAC air-conditioning.
- To ensure the maintenance programs and rectification jobs are manage by a team of technical officers and technicians efficiently.
- Responsible for the daily AC thermal comfort are within acceptable limit.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Provides project status of assigned task list items to Facilities supervisors, managers, technicians, and other internal department personnel, as necessary.
- Works as a collaborator and with a wide variety of other professionals to find unique solutions to challenging problems.
- Implement efficiency improvement on the operational process, innovating and implementing systems improvement on energy conservation.
- Preparing reports and documentation.
- Creating maintenance plans and schedules.
- Coordinating contractors for installation and maintenance projects.
- Checking work completed by contractors for compliance and safety.
- Plan, schedule and supervise Preventive and Corrective Maintenance work activities, priorities and reallocate resource when required, on ACMV equipment system under the responsibilities of Facilities organization.
- Conducting research on systems and equipment and presenting this information to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Evaluating the efficiency of systems and equipment within a facility. Lead and participate in equipment and system abnormalities root cause analysis, attend review meeting, and provide update, then execute corrective and preventive action for continual improvement, this includes installation and modification work on existing or new mechanical equipment and system.
**_Required Skills/Abilities: _**
- Be able to conduct conditional assessment for existing systems.
- Well verse in local regulatory requirements.
- Estimate labour for complex mechanical system installation.
- Develop expertise in equipment as assigned.
- Generate Project ROM, Budget Estimates, Power Point Presentation
- Must possess leadership abilities and good client maintenance skills.
**_Education and Experience: _**
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, or industrial).
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in ACMV works or a related field.
- Proficient knowledge of construction principles and building processes.
- Thorough understanding of building regulations and health and safety protocols.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-engineering team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Experience with project management principles.
