Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Customer Service (CS) Functional Consultant with strong ECC expertise to support daily operations and drive readiness for the upcoming SAP Enhancement Package (EHP) upgrade. The consultant will collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure system stability, smooth upgrade execution, and end-to-end functional readiness within SAP CS and its integrated modules.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver L2/L3 operational support for SAP CS in an ECC environment.
  • Partner with vendor, BASIS, and Technical teams during the EHP upgrade for planning, testing, and validations.
  • Conduct impact assessment, regression testing, and UAT for CS functionalities post-upgrade.
  • Review custom developments (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancements, Interfaces) for upgrade compatibility.
  • Support business operations across Service Orders, Notifications, Contracts, Warranties, Repairs.
  • Collaborate with SD, PM, MM, FI teams for integrated issue resolution.
  • Maintain configuration documents, test scripts, and KT materials.
  • Recommend process improvements and system optimizations.
  • Adhere to SLAs, compliance, and support processes.
  • Provide training and user support post-upgrade for seamless adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP CS functional consulting.

Expertise in:
  • Service Order & Notification Management.
  • Contract & Warranty Processing.
  • Installed Base (IBase) & Equipment Master Data.
  • Resource-Related Billing (RRB) with SD/FI integration.
  • Proven experience in ECC EHP Upgrade: testing, validation, vendor coordination.
  • Strong understanding of custom developments (Exits, BADIs, Enhancements).
  • Good knowledge of integration with SD, MM, PM, FI.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira or similar ticketing tools.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • SAP CS or SD certification preferred.
  • Experience with S/4HANA migration or pre-assessment is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ALM tools — HP ALM, Jira, TestRail.
