Job Description – PHP Developers

Position Overview

We are seeking skilled and motivated PHP Developers to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining our HRIS and payroll platform. You will work closely with database developers, UI/UX designers, and Python/AI engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for clients across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and APIs using PHP (preferably with frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter).

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.

Optimize application performance for large-scale employee and payroll data processing.

Integrate third-party services, APIs, and internal systems into the application.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with industry standards.

Work with QA engineers to conduct unit and integration testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (database developers, Python/AI engineers, implementation specialists) to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Proven experience as a PHP Developer (3+ years preferred).

Strong proficiency in PHP 7/8 and experience with frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter).

Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB) and writing optimized SQL queries.

Experience with RESTful API development and integration.

Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX).

Understanding of application security best practices (encryption, SSL/TLS, OWASP).

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with payroll or HRIS systems.

Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of caching strategies and performance optimization.

Exposure to parallel processing or large-scale data handling.
