DESIGNATION : Assistant Manager/Manager, Segment and Market Development
RESPONSIBILITIES
Segment & Market Development focuses on increasing giving activity on through data informed strategies for market (receiver) and segment (giver) cultivation and development.
We are looking for an individual contributor with strong project management skills as well as marketing, communications, and stakeholder management skills to work across various functions within the team.
**Market Development**:
- Oversee the relation management of GSG NPOs based on key segmentation to provide advisory services and steward their growth.
- Engage and cultivate GSG NPOs to understand challenges and needs and assist SMD in delivering the relevant solutions to support their growth.
- Design and deliver relevant programmes and events to build NPO fundraising capabilities on
- Work closely with Marketing and Advocacy to sync campaign and communications planning with NPO User activity.
- Drive the development of Knowledge and Insight Reports on donors and campaigns to inform NPO fundraising plans.
- Assess the effectiveness of the platform for the NPO User and provide recommendations for future developments.
**Segment Development**:
- Analyse donor insights to design and deliver effective stewardship and cultivation programmes and initiatives.
- Stay up to date with current giving and philanthropy trends to help identify new ways of giving.
- Work with the Corporate and Industry Partnerships Team to develop strategies to engage Corporate Users.
**Partnership Development**:
- Research & identify potential strategic partners in the market
- Work closely with internal teams within NVPC to design partnership programs to unlock new giving channels and new giving segments.
- Deploy and pilot partnership initiatives to increase visibility, enhance usability and deepen engagement of NVPC's giving ecosystem.
- Monitor and manage/deepen relationships with such key stakeholders.
- Periodically measure and review effectiveness and ROIs to determine which partnerships to scale.
- Contribute to and SG Cares development through requirements gathering and translating key requirements into portal features for design and implementation.
- Comparative analysis of with other large digital fund-raising platforms globally to understand best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree, of any field
- Minimum 7 years in Partnership/Stakeholder management or business development/sales account management/ marketing and communications
- Knowledge in non-profit fundrising, is advantangeous
- Strong execution, time-management and prioritization skills, with emphasis on attention to details.
- Ability to manage complex projects across teams
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-moving environment
- Strong relationship management skills
- Self-driven and proactive in reporting ideas, status or issues
- Passionate about the social sector
- Ability to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity
- Able to confidently engage with senior level stakeholders
