Black Utility Engineer

Tuas, Singapore WUXI XDC SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Responsibilities

● Be responsible for XDC black utilities system maintenance work, covers Chiller, Boiler, Air compressor, cooling tower, electrical panel, plumbing and other systems.

● The maintenance work covers planned prevent maintenance and emergency maintenance, both works need fill work order to record what you have done.

● Repair work required and need hands-on ability.

● Summary the equipment weak point and try to solve without supervisor guidance.

● Any energy saving work related to deal with.

● Participate projects phase to walk down to find any discrepancy from design/URS and lead utility commissioning phase.

● Prepare spare parts and consumables for utility system guide by line manager.

● Work with SEM team and external team to develop and manage all related work need complete on time.

● Review system TOP document and give feedback if have. Ensure all document is comprehensive.

● Drafting or upgrading SOPs, URS, or other documents as required.

● Coach young engineer as mentor them to develop.

● Perform other tasks assigned by leadership.

Requirements

● Bachelor or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or other related specialties; candidates with equivalent work experience is plus.

● Ability to quickly learn knowledge and all related requirement and code.

● Possess good communication ability and comprehension ability.

● Display a good working attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to follow leadership directives.

● Be open to accepting temporary work assignments, including overtime on weekends or weekdays, and other roles as required.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

● Able to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.

● Possess good multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
